Commute Surveys

TMA Delaware offers a Commute Survey that can be used by employers as a transportation demand management tool for planning worksite commuter programs. The survey helps identify the needs and attitudes of employees towards various ridesharing incentives and modes of transportation, as well as tallies the current employee commute mode distribution.

All employees are asked to participate in the voluntary survey, so results can be tallied and information determined on their views of their commute and transportation options that they would consider. Completed surveys are then returned to the TMA Delaware office for scanning and evaluation. TMA Delaware meets individually with employers to review the results and make recommendations based on the survey results. There is a minimal charge for processing surveys (per employee).

The surveys are helpful tools to determine Commute Programs to implement that are of high interest to employees, such as pre-tax commuter benefits, preferred parking and teleworking.

Commute Surveys are available to complete online or paper surveys.
